I second the recommendation for Morgan Jones book. I have owned the 2nd edition for a few years - great on power supplies especially. I couldn't have moved from copying other people's designs to making and building my own designs without it.

Cheers,
Chris T

ive actually read a bit now..and im about to re-read the beginning.Alot of the math isn't as clear as i would have hoped..ive figured most of it out,but that was through trial and error.Im guessing this is for someone who has a maths or physics understanding.I hope he goes into more depth about some things,he touches on the basics n the beginning, capacitors reactances, cut off frequencies, resonators etc etc Gives the math(not very clearly) but no why? in practical sonic terms...maybe i need to read a bit more first..or order a book that's aimed for the lowest of the low beginner.
