i have 2x12 cabinet that i made myself and would like to add an output jack on it to chain another cab to it. right now i have two 8 ohm speakers in it wired in series for 16 ohms total. i have a marshall 1960a cab that is 16 ohms as well. my amp (the SEL from ax84) has 4,8, and 16 ohm speaker outs. is my amp able to handle these two cabinets chained together or would the ohm rating of the two cabinets chained together be incompatible with my amp? speaker impedance trips me up when it gets more complicated, so i thought i would run this by you guys. |
